George Claude Faulkner, 69, of Jacksboro, TN passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Lafollette Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1947 in Corbin.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Georgia Fultz Faulkner.
He is survived by sons, Chris Faulkner and wife Leah, Charles Faulkner; daughter, Susan Morris and husband William; grandchildren, Othela and John Morris, Ariel, Jordan, Rachel, John, Jason and James Ashby Faulkner; great grandchildren, Gage, Zavier, Aryanna and AJ; sisters, Nancy Popejoy and husband Doug, Dora K. Vance and husband Tony; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Vance officiating.
Military honors were presented by The American Legion Honor Guard Post 154.
Burial was held Thursday, January 5, in the Faulkner Family Cemetery.
