I hate when any sort of inclement weather comes around here. Our local television stations (Lexington) try as hard as they can to outdo one another by peddling as much fear an angst as they can over a half-inch of snow or a little wind. It’s total sensationalism.
One of the worst side effects is all the crawls, warnings, logos and closings announcements that clutter up the television screen. Can’t they keep these things to a minimum … something small that doesn’t take up half the screen?
I could almost watch this show Monday night through all the weather and all the business closing information.
