Jesse Elmore Jr., 73, of White Oak, TN passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home.
He was born January 6, 1944 in Saxton.
Jesse was preceded in death by father, Jesse Elmore, Sr.; mother, Lou Ella Webb Calton; brother, Lawrence Elmore; sisters, Wanda Partin, Shirley Brown, Barbara Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Euretha Turner Elmore; son, David Elmore; grandson, Gavin David Elmore; brothers, Tom Elmore, Jimmy Calton; sisters, Mary Holbrook, Kay Bailey, Linda Calton, Pearl Prater, Marie Mounce, Ella Curtis, Anna Bustamante; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was held Saturday, August 26, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Kitts officiaiing,
Burial was held Sunday, August 27, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
American Legion Post #154 held the military honors.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
