Jimmy Ray Beavers, age 82, of the Nevisdale community, passed on to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 4, 1940 in Williamsburg, KY, to the late Johnny and Judy Powers Beavers. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Loueva Peace; three brothers, Arnold Beavers, LeJune Beavers, and Ron Beavers.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 64 years, Henrietta Beavers; three daughters, Vickie Tye (Rob), Kimberly Powers, and Crystal Yancey (Ron); seven grandchildren, James Croley (Camille), Joshua Powers, Rachael Roehrig, Chad McKiddy (Paige), Jared Powers, Shea Lanham (Alyssa), and Faith McKiddy (Dakota); 11 great-grandchildren, Maci McKiddy, Kannon McKiddy, Maverick McKiddy, Kyson McKiddy, Emma Croley, Claire Croley, Nora Croley, Autumn Roehrig, Bentley Powers, Olivia Powers, and Jayden Powers; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, March 25, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Evans officiating. Interment was in the Highland Park Cemetery Ellison Addition.
