Johnny Powers, 65, of Rockholds, passed away Friday April 20, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 6, 1952 in Whitley County, to the late John Clarence and Bessie Harp Powers.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Frank Spencer.
He is survived by his wife Lida Joie Powers of Rockholds,; three sons, Timothy Lee Powers of Rockholds, Jonathan Scott Powers (Laura) of Rockholds, Joseph Landon Powers (Tommie) of Richmond; five grandchildren, Marsha Allen, David Powers, Carissa Powers, Joseph Powers and Josie Powers; three sisters, Mary Katherine Spencer of Sandusky, OH, Susan Centers of Sebring, FL and Judy Manning of Rockholds; and several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held April 23, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment was in Powers Cemetery at Rockholds, Ky.
