Larry Wayne Willhite, 70, was born on October 12, 1955, in Jellico, TN, and resided in Williamsburg, Kentucky. A humble and loving man, Larry’s life was an inspiring testament to the power of kindness and compassion. His life was characterized by selfless acts of love, strength, and a deep devotion to his family.
Larry’s life was an example of quiet fortitude and love, his tender-hearted nature a treasure to all who had the privilege to know him.
His daughters, Courtney Renee Willhite of Lexington, KY, Lindsey Lee Jones and husband Donnie of Williamsburg, KY, and Haley Nicole Willhite of Williamsburg, KY, were his pride and joy; his legacy lives on in his grandchildren, Cameron Jones, Landon Willhite, Kelsey Jones, Camden Willhite, Peighton West, Molly Rose Jones and Luke Alan Jones.
He was a beloved brother, to Deborah Ann Neighbors of Central City, KY, and James Roger Willhite of Central City, KY; and a cherished uncle to Jessica Basham of Henderson, KY; his great niece and nephew, Kaitlin Strange of Florence, KY, and Dawson Strange of Central City, KY.
His humble spirit, unwavering love, and steadfast courage will continue to inspire and guide them.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, David F. Willhite and Rosa Marie (Siler) Willhite, and his brother, Gary Lynn Willhite.
Funeral service was Saturday, January 31, at Croley Funeral Home. Burial followed at Siler Cemetery.
Larry’s life was a testament to the power of love and humility, and his memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him.
