Laurel deputies searching for pharmacy burglars

 Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two men who broke into a north Corbin pharmacy Monday morning and made off with various medications.

According to Sheriff John Root, the two suspected forced open the back door of Brentwood Pharmacy on Bolton Road off of Campbell Road at approximately 3:24 a.m. after attempting to disable the alarm system.

“However the alarm did activate and officers responded to the scene,” Root stated.

The duo grabbed what they could and fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

Both suspects appeared to be wearing blue jeans and hooded jackets/sweatshirts.
