Laurel deputies searching for suspect vehicle in hotel theft

Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a vehicle that may have been used in the theft of more than $3,000 worth of power tools from a Corbin area hotel.

According to Sheriff John Root, surveillance video from the Baymont Inn captured what appeared to be an older model Oldsmobile Bravada SUV leaving the scene of the theft.

The tools belong to workers in the process of remodeling the facility.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or the single male occupant driving it is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at (606) 864-6600.
