NOTICE TO UNKNOWN HEIRS OF PHILLIP L. WILLIAMS, DECEASED

To the unknown heirs of Phillip L. Williams, Deceased, I have been appointed as Warning Order Attorney to notify you of Civil Action No. 24-CI-00003, BG48, LLC v. Unknown Heirs of Phillip L. Williams, Deceased, et al., Whitley Circuit Court. You have fifty (50) days from January 5, 2024, to file an answer or other pleadings in this case, or judgment may be taken against you as requested in the Complaint. This is an action foreclosing upon property located at 239 Corinth Rd., Corbin, KY 40701 due to unpaid property taxes.

25 CORBIN LLC D/B/A Corbin Shell Food Mart declares its intention(s) to apply for NQ Retail Malt Beverage Package license no later than 02/18/2024. The licensed premises will be located at 2540 Cumberland Falls Hwy, Corbin, Ky 40701. The owner/officer(s) are Gopal Khanal, resident of 3129 Caversham Park Ln, Lexington KY 40509, Susan P Pandit, resident of 4721 Larkhill Ln, Lexington KY 40509, Binti Adhikari, resident of 2417 Geppa Ct, Lexington KY 40509. Any person, association, corporation, or body politic may protest the granting of the license(s) by writing the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 500 Mero St 2NE33, Frankfort, Kentucky, 40601, within thirty (30) days of the date of legal publication.

 

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-1

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORBIN, KENTUCKY, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR THE APPORTIONMENT OF REVENUES GENERATED FROM THE COUNTY OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEE AND THE CITY OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEE, AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the City of Corbin and Whitley County are each political subdivisions under KRS 65, and each has determined that it is in their respective best interests to apportion the occupational fees, consistent with KRS 68.197, so as to jointly promote stable economic development within their common jurisdiction; to avoid competition between them for economic development; and, to share in the joint promotion of future economic growth within both Whitley County and the City of Corbin.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Corbin, Kentucky as follows:

SECTION 1: The City of Corbin, Kentucky does hereby adopt and approve the lnterlocal Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of Corbin, Kentucky, is authorized and directed to sign the attached lnterlocal Agreement on behalf of the City.

SECTION 3: All Ordinances or portions thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect upon due passage and legal advertisement.
