Lela Christeen Ball, 92, of Cane Creek Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, TN.
She was born on August 10, 1925 in Whitley County, to the late Lincoln Hurst and Axie (Partin) Hurst.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ball.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Hensley of Williamsburg; one granddaughter, Heather Christina Meadors and husband Thomas of Williamsburg; one brother, George Hurst of Williamsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Thursday, April 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hurst, Rev. Ronnie Bowman, Rev. Tim Adkins and Rev. Earl Powers officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery.
Her nephews served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were her family and friends.
