Lois M. Cox, 94, of Highway 779, Rockholds, departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on August 21, 1922 in Whitley County, to the late Cager A. Terrell and Gertie Johnson Terrell.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Grover Cox. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Cox of Rockholds; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Friday, February 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
She was laid to rest in the Hill Cemetery at Meadow Creek.
