Mary Ellen Hickey Black departed this life and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 19, 2017.
Preceding her in death was her former husband and dear friend, Ronnie Dale Black; parents, Roscoe and Delora Hickey; sisters Ruby Hickey, Sue Puckett, Flora Ann Tincher, and Gloria Jean Benton; brothers Bob Hickey, Jerry Hickey, Eddie Hickey and Bill Hickey.
She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Dawn Myers and beloved son-in-law Derrick Myers of Corbin; and one sister, Margaret Hickey Slover of Corbin; nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn her passing.
She also leaves behind a family of feline friends who were very special to her heart.
A private memorial service officiated by Pastor James Hodge honoring her life was arranged by Croley Funeral Home.
