Mary J. Hatfield Douglas, 87, of Jellico, TN passed Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home.

She was born July 26, 1929 in Claiborne County, TN.

Mary was a member of the Tannery Hollow Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Rex” Douglas; parents, Rev. Clifford and Dolly Bowman Hatfield; brothers, William Hatfield, Marion Hatfield, and Larry Hatfield; sisters, Roxie Hammett, Hazel McCreary, Hester Russell, ​Lorine Brogan.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur Douglas, and Tim Douglas and wife Coty; grandchildren, Christine, Stephanie, Abigail, Brandon, Brittany, Nicholas, Elijah, Cameron, Gracie and Lily; five great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Mayes, Opal Rogers and husband Ray; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 14, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox officiating.

Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
