When Nashville singer/songwriter Lisa Oliver-Gray takes the main stage on the final night of the NIBROC Festival in Corbin Saturday, she won’t be a stranger to the town.
Oliver-Gray, a native of Elizabethtown, has played here before at one of the past Moonbow Nights events on Main Street. And she’s no stranger to NIBROC.

“I love it. I’ve been there many times. I always look forward to going to NIBROC. I’ve heard some great musicians there,” Oliver-Gray said during an interview Tuesday.

More regularly an in-demand session vocalist in Nashville, Oliver-Gray is comfortable to being front and center. She was lead singer in her own band for seven years in Bowling Green before moving to Nashville, Tenn.

Now she even has her own CD filled with original music. It’s entitled “Dedicated to Love” — her debut album.

She promises to play a few songs of her own at NIBROC and hopes in the process she can pick a few local fans.

“That would be perfect. We would love to pick up some new people who maybe haven’t heard me before,” Oliver-Gray said.

She promised to be accessible during the evening to meet and greet fans.

Along with a scattering of her own music, Oliver-Gray said there will be plenty of familiar music for festival-goers to enjoy; hits from bands like The Beatles and Heart.

“We are going to play a lot of songs everybody is going to love … stuff everyone knows and can sing along to,” she said. “We are all seasoned entertainers and we are ready to put on a great show. I promise you, we are going to bring it.”

Oliver-Gray will take the main stage at NIBROC at 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
