A ceremony was held last Thursday at the Whitley County Judicial Center to swear in many of Whitley County’s officials, several of which are new to their offices. TOP LEFT: Bill Elliotte takes the oath of office as Whitley County’s new sheriff. TOP RIGHT: Josh Lowe is sworn in as Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney. Lowe will take over a vacancy left by Nick Wilson, who was elected as State Representative. BOTTOM LEFT: Jason Wilson is sworn in as jailer. BOTTOM RIGHT: Kentucky Supreme Court Deputy Chief Justice Debra Hembree Lambert administered the oath of office to Whitley/McCreary District Judge Cathy Prewitt.
