During the Whitley County Board of Education’s regular monthly meeting on April 20, Superintendent John Siler (left) presented Ruth Osborne (right) with the district’s Above and Beyond Award. Osborne, who is the district’s instructional coach for the gifted and talented program, was given the award for her exceptional work and dedication to the district and its students. “She is very, very worthy of this,” said Siler. “She does great work. She is doing some great things with all of our kids throughout the district. We are so thankful that you are a part of our district.”
