Police seeking leads into bowling alley break-in

Corbin Police are seeking the public’s help to find the man who broke into Forest Lanes Monday night/ Tuesday morning.

Major Rob Jones, the department’s public affairs officer, said the individual used a hammer to break the glass of the front door of the bowling alley in the Forest Hills Shopping Center on Cumberland Falls Hwy.

“The bowling alley closes about 11 or 12 at night and the damage was found about 8:40 this morning when the employees came to work,” Jones said.

The burglar broke into the safe and made off with approximately $800 in cash. Jones said he took the hammer that he used to break the glass. Nothing else was taken in the burglary.
