Corbin Independent School District parents and students will have the chance to pick-up some school supplies and some information during the annual Corbin Independent Family Resource Youth Service Center (FRYSC) Readifest, which is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1, at Corbin Elementary School from 5 – 7 p.m.
The annual event provides school supplies and hosts various community partners that provide helpful information to parents and students of Corbin schools.
Community partners slated to participate include: Whitley County Health Department, Corbin Public Library, 21st Century, Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Whitley County Extension Office 4-H, Access Health and Corbin school resource officers.
Corbin Food Service will be providing a meal.
Corbin Elementary School is located at 706 South Kentucky Avenue.
