With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Ricky Frazier, a loving husband, dedicated father, son, uncle and loyal friend. Ricky was born in Pineville, KY, on April 10, 1977, and spent his life making an impact on those around him until his untimely passing on November 7, 2024 at the age of 47.
Ricky was a Godly man full of integrity, who loved and strived to be like Jesus. He was the epitome of grace and compassion and always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family. He valued hard work and dedicated the last 27 years to the heating and air trade as a licensed HVAC contractor and journeyman mechanic. In the last three years leading up to his illness, he was an HVAC instructor and the HVAC Program Coordinator for Gateway Community and Technical College in Florence, KY. where he developed a passion for teaching the trade he loved so much.
His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality served as a testament to his dedication to his craft. He was a man of many talents, and he used his skills to warm homes and hearts alike. Ricky was a beacon of light in our community, always willing to lend a helping hand. His contagious laughter and ever-present smile will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Ricky leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his beloved wife, Terrina Frazier of Williamsburg, KY; and their daughter, Makayla Frazier of Williamsburg, KY. His memory will continue to live on through his father, Ricky Frazier Sr. Arjay, KY; his sisters, April Bradburn (Steve) of Harrogate, TN. and Samantha Jones (Camron) of Speedwell, TN; and his brother, Jason Frazier (Rosanna) of Middlesboro, KY. His nieces, Emily Bradburn, Sophie Frazier, and Olivia Jones; and nephews, Ethan Frazier and Cayden Jones. His mother-in-law, Janice Cornett; father-in-law, Wayne Cornett; and brother-in-law, Tim Cornett, also survive him.
Ricky is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Frazier; and his grandparents, Mary and Charles Frazier, Mary and Willis Warren.
Funeral service was Sunday, November 10 at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Carr officiating.
Ricky always said, “this world is not my home”, God has bigger and better things in store for me.”
