Editor’s note: In the printed edition of the News Journal on August 3, the name of Mays’ ex-girlfriend, who secured the initial EPO in Whitley County, was misidentified. She should have been identified as Courtney Morgan.

A Whitley County Sheriff’s deputy who was suspended after he was served with an emergency protective order from his ex-girlfriend in July has been served with a second EPO in Laurel County on behalf of his minor child.
