hibbardShamian G. Hibbard, 40, of Lily, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home.

He was a son of Sheridan G. and Vicky Smith Hibbard of Lily.

He had worked at the Hearthside factory at London and was of the Baptist faith.

Shamian enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting and liked sitting by his fire pit.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Shaniuh and husband Austin, Sabian, Simeon, Hayden, and Alyssa;  a granddaughter, Ella;  his brother, Sheridan D. Hibbard and wife Lacey;  and his fiancee, Brandy Couch.

Shamian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sally Garland Smith and Wilson Smith, Alice Hubbard and Sheridan G. Hibbard, Sr.;  a sister, Sherida Denise Hibbard;  and brothers, Jamie Lee and Brian J. Willis.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday December 21, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Boswell officiating.

Entombment will follow in Candle Ridge Cemetery in Gray.
