Shirley Marie Manes

Shirley Marie Manes, 74, born on March 27, 1951 in Pineville, KY, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. A humble woman of great strength and steadfast love, Shirley resided in Siler, Kentucky, where her loving presence was a beacon of warmth and comfort to those around her.
Shirley dedicated her life to nurturing her family, creating a loving home that was a sanctuary to all who entered. As the saying goes, “The heart of a home is a mother’s love,” and Shirley embodied this sentiment in every way.
Shirley is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of over 54 years, Tommy Manes of Siler, KY; her beloved daughters, Jodie Hill and husband Lawrence of Corbin, KY and Kellie Anderson and husband Brandon of Corbin, KY; her cherished grandchildren, Kolbe Hill, Peyton Anderson, Kylie Hill, and Darcie Anderson; and her caring siblings, Phyllis Spivey of Barbourville, KY, Bill Rhodes and wife Peggy of Siler, KY, and Ken Rhodes and wife Mary of Siler, KY.
Her spirit will continue to live on within the hearts of her several nieces, nephews, and the host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Eva (Peace) Rhodes; and her siblings, Wanda Faye Manes, Marshall Rhodes, Glennis Rhodes, and David Rhodes.
Funeral services was at Croley Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 5.
