Teen author holding Corbin book signing

Date:

The Kindred Spirit Christian Bookstore in Corbin will host a book signing Saturday afternoon with an 18-year-old Long Island author, who is a Kentucky native. Appolonya Lanham will be at the book store at noon for a meet and greet and to sign her book, “Erugo,” for anyone, who would like it autographed.

She will have a limited number of books on hand for sale.

“Erugo is the perfect country. Built from the ruins of a past civilization, they are determined to do things differently. But when Leah finds out that Erugo isn’t all it is supposed to be, she has to choose between being loyal to her country or helping her best friend save an innocent child’s life. Escaping all they’ve ever known won’t be easy. They don’t know what they’ll find outside Erugo,” a blurb from the book reads.

Lanham is the daughter of minister Tommy Lanham and his wife, Tammy, who have ministered throughout the area over the past 20 years, prior to moving to New York in 2019.
