Update: I-75 lane closure remains in effect through 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 2

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that Interstate 75 northbound at milepoints 23.5 – 25.0 in Whitley County will continue to be reduced to one lane until Wednesday, May 2 at 10 p.m.

KYTC crews have closed the right (slow) lane of this section to perform base failure repair operations. The right (slow) lane closure will continue to be in effect until Wednesday, May 2 at 10 p.m.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
