UPDATE: Kentucky State Police announced Thursday that two Woodbine men were arrested in connection with the July 28 burglary at a warehouse in Corbin.

Trooper Shane Jacobs, public affairs officer at Post 10 in Harlan, said Trooper Jay Sowders arrested 33-year-old Steve Jones and 26-year-old Thomas Cupp.

Jones and Cupp are each charged with third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking of the value of $500 or more.

On July 30, Kentucky State Police asked for the public’s help to identify the two men who used and ATV and an SUV to steal refrigerator condensors from a warehouse in Corbin.

According to Trooper Shane Jacobs, public affairs officer at Post 10 in Harlan, Trooper Sammy Farris was called to the scene on Liberty Church Road off of Young’s Creek Road about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when the burglary was discovered.

Video surveillance shows the duo, wearing baseball style hats and towels around their heads, using a dolly attached to a green Honda Rancher ATV to transport the condensers.

One of the individuals was operating a black SUV that was parked a short distance from the burglary, Jacobs stated.
