wc wrestlers take fourth

The Whitley County Colonels took fourth in the Gibbs (Tenn.) High School Invitational last week out of 16 teams. The Colonels finished with 121.5 points.

Two Colonels went through the brackets to become tournament champions, Jeff Couch (125-pounds) and Samuel Vanover (189-pounds). Solomon Vanover (171-pound) was second.

The Colonels also nailed down third place finishes, Zach Bray (135), Duncan Caddell (135) and Scotty Partin (152).
