West Jessamine came out of the gate first and took the lead as the teams battled pretty much even until the end of the quarter when West took a 12-8 lead. Jarrod Polson looked good in the opening quarter.
Grayson County has started the second quarter on a run and jumped ahead 16-12, behind junior Aaron Deviney and senior forward Lance Buckles, but West has come back and now leads 22-19 with two minutes left in the quarter. Polson hit a big three-pointer.
I’d say this game will go down to the wire.
