Whitley County gets $515,213 road fund check

As the old saying goes, you can tell it’s an election year when the roads get paved.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet official Gray Tomblyn II poses Tuesday afternoon with Whitley County Judge-Executive Pat White Jr. and members of the fiscal court after announcing over $500,000 in funding for Whitley County paving projects.

Tuesday afternoon, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials traveled to the Whitley County Courthouse where they announced that $515,213 in state discretionary road funds were being allocated to Whitley County for vital resurfacing work.
