Willa Dean Miller

Willa Dean Miller, 70, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday July 8, 2017 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

She was born in Whitley County and was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Martin and Georgia Wilder Martin. Willa was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Woodrow Sonny Martin and wife Hiromi; sisters, Wilma Alley and husband Jim; and Winifred “Winnie” Martin.

Willa is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Amos Miller; children; Mary Miller Smith and husband Jeff; Amie Miller Marcum and husband Greg, and by Sam Miller and wife Krystal; grandchildren; Josh Smith, Travis Smith, Zack Marcum, Abby Miller, Tanner Marcum, Ally Miller, and SamiBeth Miller; brothers, Wendell “Pete” Martin and wife Sonja; Donnie Martin and wife Naomi; Walter Martin and wife Carmen; sister, Orpha McCright; and by numerous special nieces and nephews; as well as, other family and friends and by all those who called her Mommy and Nana.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday July 12, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin with pallbearers being; Guilio Cima, Geno Cima, Michael Cima, Burley Foley, Nick Hampton, Tim Massengill, Mike Martin, and Mark Thomas.
