William Roy Lawson, 58, of Taylor Circle Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Jellico Medical Center in Jellico, TN.
He was born on February 22, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Herbert and Betty (Terry) Lawson.
He was a member of Pleasant View Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Lawson of Williamsburg; two stepsons, Jeremy Taylor (Kim) and Daniel Taylor (Jamie) of Williamsburg; grandson, Jeremiah Paul of Williamsburg; two sisters, Cora Ward (Kenny) and Teresa Jones (Mike) of Corbin; four brothers, Ken Lawson (Betty), Ronnie Lawson (Sherry) and Larry Lawson (Teresa) of Williamsburg, and Tim Lawson (Tammy) of Rockholds; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, March 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moses and Rev. Marion Cook officiating.
Following the service he was laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
