More than 175 Jeeps descended upon Williamsburg late last week for the 29th Annual Gateway to the Cumberlands Jeep Jamboree event. Jeeps and their drivers began arriving Thursday, Oct. 20, for registration and inspection, though the official kickoff was held the following morning at the Kentucky Splash Waterpark, where they all gathered for a brief meeting and welcome from local officials before piling out of the waterpark to their respective trails. This year’s event was once again the largest Jeep Jamboree in both the United States and the world.
