12th INNING WIN

An 11th inning bunt by Ben House proved to be the winning hit as the Corbin Redhounds won a thriller over the home standing Seahawks of Hilton Head, 6-5, Monday in the Hilton Head Invitational.

Trace Vorbeck led off the inning with a grounder to second that was mishandled. Travis Smith was given a free ride to first with an intentional walk.    The Redhounds looked to be in jeapordy in the seventh after the Seahawks scored three runs in the top of the inning. However, Corbin answered with three runs of their own as Smith, Brady Foley and Cody Duncum scored. Smith and Foley scored on a double by Farley and Duncum tied the game on a sacrifice by Omar McDaniel.
