Robert Dwayne Rickett, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, was born on April 22, 1963, in Whitley County, Kentucky. He was the beloved son of Bill Rickett of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and the late Susie Taylor Rickett.
He is survived by two brothers, Michael Rickett of Williamsburg and Jason Rickett; aunts, Pauline Johnson, Alma Hamblin, Barbara Barton, Sue Elliott, Bonnie Mullins, and Mary Faye Irvin; and special cousins, Fonnie Lawson, Lisa Manus, Rhonda Curnutt, Missy Grubb, and Carla Hunter; along with a host of other family and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.
In addition to his mother, Robert was preceded in death by his cousin, Dewayne Elliott; and two uncles, Mack Rickett and Glenna Anderson.
Robert had a curious mind and loved to spend time researching topics that interested him. He enjoyed engaging in lively debates with his family and friends and was especially known for his good-natured banter with his cousins. Those who knew him best will remember his quick wit, sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty.
Robert Dwayne Rickett departed this life on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, being 62 years, 6 months, and 20 days of age.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
