What an ending to a high school basketball season. The Hazard Bulldogs led West Jessamine, 40-28 when they went ice cold from the field. Hazard missed 12 shots in the fourth quarter to lose, 51-40. The Dawgs scored only one point in the final period.

Josh Whitaker who had 14 points at the half ended the game with 18 points.

Jarrod Polson was the star of the game, scoring 12 second half points. Polson, a lightning quick guard, had six assists for the game. David Elliott was on the receiving end of three passes.

The Colts won the battle of the boards, 34-20, a big difference in the game.
