Melissa Sue Matlock, 39, of Wofford Cemetery Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on December 29, 1978 in Knoxville, TN to the late Sie Raymond Matlock and Brenda Meadors Matlock.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Matlock; grandfather, James Meadors and grandparents, Carl and Judy Matlock.
She is survived by her children, Lige Matlock, Kayla Matlock and Jayden Matlock; mother, Brenda Matlock; brother, Dexter Matlock; soulmate, Patrick Johns; all of Williamsburg; grandparents, George and Martha Middleton of Rockholds; several aunts and uncles; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, March 6, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Bunch and Rev. James Brown officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Thomas Cemetery.
