John Paul Ratcliff, formerly of Greenville passed away from a brief illness at his home in Nashville on Sunday, December 9, 2018.

John held a Doctor of Pharmacy decree from the University of Tennessee Memphis. He successfully practiced for over 65 years. He was also a retired Captain from the United States Air Force having served in England.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Levy Ratcliff; father, William Ratcliff, Sr.; mother, Lula Ratcliff.

John is survived by son, Steve Ratcliff and wife Terri of Greeneville, Carol Bryson and husband Jim of Nashville; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.

A memorial service was held at 12 (noon) Sunday, December 23, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial followed in the Jellico Cemetery.

Military Honors were presented by the American Legion Honor Guard Post 154 (Elk Valley).
