Rev. Paul Privett

Rev. Paul Privett, 73, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin.

He was born January 24, 1945 in Whitley County, to the late James B. and Dorothy Rigby Privett.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Rosie Canada, Della Gibbins, Mary Gibson and a brother; Lee Privett.

He is survived by his wife Delores Privett of Williamsburg; four children; James Privett (Sherry) of Siler, Annette Privett (Steven Noe) of Corbin, Arthur “Charlie” Privett (Bonnie) of Williamsburg, and Rebecca Parker (Daryl) of Williamsburg; a host of grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; sister; Pauline Cox of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, December 24, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ulys Cox and Rev. Jerome Cox officiating.

Interment was in the Canadatown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions be made to the funeral home in memory of Paul Privett.
