Date:

Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to find the individual(s) who have shot at multiple residences and vehicles with paintballs and BB’s over the weekend

Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, the department’s public affairs officer, said the perpetrator(s) have indiscriminately targeted property in the Keavy area between Level Green Road and Ky. 192.

Damage has occurred on Keavy Road, Keavy Craig’s Creek Road, Ky. 312, Level Green Road and Paris Karr Road.

“They haven’t shattered any windows so far,” Acciardo said explaining property has been dented and splotched with paint.

Victims have contacted police at approximately 10 p.m. each night.

“That is just when the damage has been noticed,” Acciardo said.

Acciardo said deputies don’t have a suspect vehicle or any description of the individual(s) involved.

“Maybe someone will end up with some video surveillance that may help us,” Acciardo said.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (606) 864-6600 or Laurel County Dispatch at (606) 878-7000.
