Corbin City Commission hears proposal to turn old district court into event space

A joint project between the City of Corbin and Corbin Independent Schools could turn the former Whitley District Courtroom in the old city hall building into a new presentation room and event space.

Mark Daniels, Director of Support Services at Corbin Independent Schools, went before the Corbin City Commission Monday to propose renovating the vacant space district court space in old city hall.
