Dayspring Health buys portion of Cumberland Regional Mall

A multi-million-dollar comprehensive medical facility is in the works in Williamsburg following the purchase of a portion of the Cumberland Regional Mall by Dayspring Health, Inc.

According to a warranty deed filed with the Whitley County Clerk’s Office, Dayspring purchased the old Walmart portion of the mall on May 18 for $1,875,000. Dr. Geogy Thomas, Dayspring’s chief executive officer, confirmed the purchase earlier this week and provided details about what the future holds for that space.
