Shelley selected to start first agriculture program at WHS

Date:

Williamsburg Independent School has its first ever agriculture teacher and she is a local native, who is excited about her new job.

Toraleah Shelley has been tapped to be the first ever agriculture teacher in the history of Williamsburg Independent School.

“I think it relates to every day life. Anymore, students don’t really feel like they connect to the world in a sense. I feel like they can take these classes that they learn and then excel outside the classroom. They can get real life experience and as soon as they graduate and be competitive in the world,” said Toraleah Shelley.
