Lonnie Peace

Lonnie Peace, age 80, of Gray, Ky., passed away Wednesday May 10, 2023 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Ky.
He was born November 12, 1942 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Ernest and Minnie L. Rucker Peace. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Joe Peace.
He worked for 30 years at General Motors starting April 1, 1965. He was also a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia L. Peace of Dayton, Ohio; two children, Christopher G. Peace of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, and Angela L. Peace of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Joshua G. Peace of Dayton, Ohio, Julia N. Steinke of Anna, Ohio, and Skylar Spurlock of Dayton, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Norah Steinke, Charlotte Steinke, and Lucy Steinke all of Anna, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Monday May 15, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
