When it comes to the US25E congestion reduction project along the Exit 29 corridor, there is some good news and some bad news.
First is the bad news.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that access to Go Time, L&N Credit Union, and Arby’s at traffic signal No. 3 in Laurel County will be closed starting Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7 a.m. and will remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.
The need for this closure is to allow for concrete paving of US25E westbound driving and turn lanes. This is part of the US25E congestion reduction project.
The good news is that access to Go Time, L&N Credit Union, and Arby’s will be available using traffic signal No. 4 located at N. Stewart Rd, which was closed a few weeks ago as part of the construction project.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
