Alene “Teanie” King, age 81 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born September 15, 1940 in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Teanie is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne King; son Timothy Wayne King; parents, Homer and Gertie Calhoun Hughes.
She is survived by, daughter, Teresa Alene King; brother, Cleo Hughes and wife Teresa; sister, Ann Smith and husband Bob; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Thursday, April 14, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel McFeeters and Bro. Richard Thomas officiating.
Burial followed in the King Family Cemetery in Roses Creek.
