Arnold Lee Owens, age 83, of Mt. View Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 6, 1939 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late David Owens and Dorothy (Phillips) Owens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy (Frederick) Owens; brothers, Kenneth Owens, John Owens, and Paul Owens; and sister, Geneva Rains.
He is survived by one son, David Owens (Lisa) of Corbin, Kentucky; one daughter, Karen Lawson (David) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jessica Owens, Kayleigh Brock (Aaron), David Lawson (Lacey), William Prewitt, and Michael Prewitt; one great grandson, Kayson Brock; one great-granddaughter in July; companion of over 30 years, Betty Prewitt of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special family members, David Prewitt (Robin) of Georgetown, Linda Rains Taylor of Williamsburg, Mark Richardson (Lisa) of Williamsburg, Michael Richardson (Jennie Mae) of Williamsburg, Trina Partin (Dwight) of Williamsburg, Dustin Richardson (Venessa) of Williamsburg, Justin Richardson (Tosha) of Williamsburg, Paula Kay Jordan (Larry) of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Sandy Edwards (William) of Highland, Michigan; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour on Tuesday, February 1, at the Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Meadors officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
