Delzie Banks, age 95, passed away on January 27, 2022. He was born on September 1, 1926, to the late Wilson and Orlena Day Banks in Roda, Virginia.
Military honors were conducted by American Legion Post #88 Honor Guard on Sunday, January 30, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 am until he funeral hour at 1 pm on Tuesday February 1, at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky, with Bro. Glenn Cornett and Bro. Freddie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery in Whitesburg.
