Baptist Health Corbin recognizes Destiney Slone as the first recipient of The BEE Award

Baptist Health Corbin’s The Bee Award is a recognition program that honors and celebrates the compassion of exceptional healthcare workers. The Bee Award compliments the Daisy Award developed for nurses.

As in nature the bees are loyal, hardworking and cannot exist without the daisy, the daisy cannot exist without the bee. The Bee Award demonstrates the PETALS principles-

The Bee Award recipient, Destiney Slone, OB Tech, Labor and Delivery, exemplifies quality service and extraordinary care to her patients and their families creating a great experience. She demonstrates the core values of Baptist Health. Including: integrity, respect, excellence, collaboration, compassion and joy.
