Barry Rose, 64, of London passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Christian Health Center.

Born September 25, 1953, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Ernie and Marie Rose.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he also was a former mail handler with the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joey Rose.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Melba Rose; step children: Ardian and wife Josie, Maria and husband Russell, Carlo and wife Yvonne, Mary Ann, Joy and husband Ricardo, Janette, and Geraldine and husband Brian; several grandchildren; and two sisters: Kim Rose and Erna Sizemore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Gray.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
