Betty (Hicks) Morgan, age 78, of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Beech Tree Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 20, 1944, in Wooldridge, Tennessee.
Betty was preceded in death by son, Johnny Morgan; father, Glen Hicks; mother, Della (Perry) Hicks Williams; brothers, Ray Hicks and Roger Williams; and grandparents, William and Nancy Perry.
She is survived by her husband, George “Mark” Leonard Morgan; sons, Billy Morgan and wife Renee, Scott Morgan and wife Lois; daughter, Elaine Norris and husband Michael; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Smith; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Williams and Roscoe Hicks; sisters, Deanne Jones, Shirley Williams and Gail Hicks; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, October 15, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Bargo and Rev. Joe Morgan officiating.
Burial was Sunday October 16, in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community.
