BREAKING NEWS: Woodbine couple arrested for abusing four-year-old

The mother of a 4-year-old and her husband are in the Knox County Detention Center on charges that she allowed her husband to physically abuse the child on multiple occasions.

Natoshia R. Alsip, 27, and Nicholas Ryan Alsip, 26, both of Woodbine, were arrested Friday morning at their home on Park Helton Cemetery Road by Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Gregory, who has been investigating the case.

The Alsips are each charged with one count of first-degree child abuse.

Their bond is set at $50,000 cash, each.
